Lost in the flames of greed

Everyone has heard of Macedonia.

However, instead of mentioning something positive, they mostly discuss the tragedies caused by the corruption of crabs.

The result of all those who think that connections will solve everything.

All those who are greedy and, for a few extra bucks, will sign that they have seen aliens or vampires.

You won't take the millions to the grave. But you have taken too many innocent lives. At every moment, with every blink of an eye, you will carry the images of the children, of the forged signatures, of all those who disappeared in the flames of the disaster.

And we, who watch from the side, will we learn something?

Or are we going to wait to feel the pain they are now carrying?

They all hurt equally.

Everyone has lost someone.

They were all someone's children: someone's brother, someone's sister, someone's husband, wife.

Most of all, I was struck by the guy who went to celebrate his newborn.

What was supposed to be a celebration of new life - turned into a tragedy.

Call, say the unspoken words. Say what's on your mind. Be silent, but forgive, move on, and leave nothing unsaid.

All those plans for the future – a summer in Croatia, a picnic on Lake Veles, lunch in Kumanovo – how are you going to make them happen if you're chasing the only one who's here, who's trying for you?

What if she's gone tomorrow? What if today is your last chance to tell her everything that's on your mind?

What if this is your last chance to change everything and find peace? Are you going to gamble it away for pride?

And when you lose her, what will you do with pride?

The fire was burning. The memories were burning. All hope was burning. With each flame, parts of their loved ones disappeared —pieces of their souls that could not be returned. Someone's children died. Every life lost is like an irretrievable shadow that fades into the darkness, leaving a void that will never be filled. They have gone to ashes, and their names and memories will remain as sorrows that will never fade.
